Why should I play classical piano?
Well, that is a simple question to answer. You should only play classical piano if YOU WANT too. There is no other fees able reason that I can possibly thing off. No one should force you to play an instrument as this will take away your ability to actually learn it to perfection especially if you are from an older generation.
Classical piano to me is one of the greatest ways in which to play piano. It brings out my personal gratefulness for the art of the piano. I don’t just play piano, I feel it. The texture of the keys under my fingers gives me an indication of whether or not I like a particular piano or not.

Today I decided to let my son in on the piano action. He began to play a little bit here and there and at the tender age of only nine he seems to be really good at picking up on all the ideas and techniques of playing piano in both rhythm and hearing tone!
