Piano’s are constructed in a very special way. the best piano construction usually invlves using the best materials and finding the perfect balance between several items that go into the construction of the piano.

Below is a picture that makes reference to the way in which piano hammers strike a string thereby producing a sound of a certain pitch and tone.

If you have as much passion as I do for this instrument then you would understand my fascination with the construction of it. I have taken a lot of time to understand the ins and outs of piano construction in the hopes that it would better my knowledge and playing skill and technique.

It takes time, effort and a great deal of patience to create an instrument of this caliber.

Piano’s ahve been around for hundreds of years yet the ideology and techinque in creating this great instrument seems to remain the same. That says a lot for one instrument. It is the finest piece of art in it’s construction leaving out the fact that it is one of the most harmonious instrument ever developed.
